New York, NY (Top40 Charts) UK based songwriter John Rhodes releases the debut single in his upcoming collection ‘Never Find Love’ featuring his daughter Stacey on vocals. This is the first installment of three upcoming singles that the British songwriter has decided to release, with the next single scheduled for in only a months time!
“Never Find Love tells the story of a woman who is being bombarded by materialistic gifts from a man in an attempt to buy her love. She stands her ground and refuses to be overpowered by him or give into his pursuits. It is a track written and inspired by the strength of women and their worth. The story demonstrates that the protagonists love is of higher value and that love simply cannot be brought by just anyone.” – John Rhodes
John has been writing and performing songs since the age of 13. Having studied classical guitar through Trinity College of Music where he even appeared in a duo on Junior Showtime, filmed at Yorkshire Television studios.
Over the years John has performed with many different bands further fuelling his love for music, combining his own music with well known covers. John’s musical style ranges across multi-genres from folk, country, rock and blues. His noted musical influences have also come from a range of artists such as The Eagles, Phil Collins, Sir Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Foreigner and more recent ones such as Adele and Rag and Bone Man.
He has recorded a number of songs at his home studio, but has recently teamed up with a multi-talented international guitarist and music producer Mike Krompass to infuse his creations with a high tech, large studio sound! Together they have recently recorded a few singles and an upcoming EP featuring his daughter Stacey Rhodes and singer Dan Taylor. The singles and EP are a mix of rock, blues and a couple of ballads thrown in for good measure to demonstrate the adeptness and range within his writing styles.
