Team, the day is finally here!
As of today, June 27, 2026, the Goode Times Events Brand Style Guide is finalized and ready for immediate release! Weβve always been about creating "Goode Times" for our clients, but as we grow, itβs more important than ever that we look, act, and speak like a unified family.
That is why I am thrilled to announce the official launch of the Goode Times Events Brand Style Guide! π₯
This guide isn't just a document; itβs our Single Source of Truth. Whether you are a full-time team member, a freelance contractor, or a marketing partner, this guide is your new North Star. Itβs designed to make your life easier, your work more professional, and our brand more unforgettable!
Everything is ready for publishing, and this announcement is marked for immediate release so the team can access the guide right away.
Important internal publishing note: Once this page is live in WordPress, please set it to Password Protected in the WordPress dashboard.
Why Now? The Importance of a Unified Voice π£
Weβve seen it all, haven't we? The stress of a last-minute wedding setup, the logistics of a corporate gala, and the high-energy demands of a packed dance floor. In the midst of all that beautiful chaos, our brand needs to remain a beacon of reliability and professionalism.
Have you ever wondered if youβre using the right logo on a proposal? Or maybe you weren't sure what font to use for a social media post? Perhaps youβve even seen stock photos of DJs that look nothing like our talented team and thought, "That's not us!"
Weβve heard you! This style guide solves those problems once and for all. By following these guidelines, we ensure that every client touchpoint, from the first click on goodetimesevents.com to the final song of the night, feels like a premium, personalized experience. We are positioning ourselves as the best of the best, and it starts with how we present ourselves to the world!

The "Core Four" Identities ποΈ
One of the biggest updates in this guide is the formal codification of our four core brand identities. While we are one big family under Goode Times Events, each of our specialized services now has its own approved logos, usage rules, and personality:
- Goode Times Events (The Master Brand): This is our umbrella. It represents our Event Coordination services and our commitment to making every affair personal and memorable. Itβs warm, professional, and sophisticated.
- DJBGoode: Our high-energy DJ service brand. Itβs all about the dance floor, the lights, and the "Gold Package" experience. You can find more details at djbgoode.com.
- Goode Times PhotoBooth: Our fun, interactive, and high-quality photo booth branch. This is where we let loose with the largest, most fun photo booths in Atlanta! Check out the details at goodetimesevents.com/photo-booth.
- DJ Richard Jeff: Our premier talent branding. This identity is refined, musical, and highlights the specific expertise of our very own Richard Jeff.
Each of these has a dedicated set of logos in the guide. Effective immediately, please stop using any old or "unauthorized" logo variations! Use only the high-resolution files provided in the new asset folder.
The NEW Likeness Policy: Only the Real Deals! π§
This is perhaps the most important update for all our content creators and social media managers. We pride ourselves on personalization and authenticity. We aren't a "cookie-cutter" agency; we treat our clients like family.
Starting today, we are banning the use of generic stock imagery of DJs.
When we depict a DJ behind the decks, we want our clients to see the faces of the people who actually show up and pack their dance floors! To keep things consistent and professional, only the headshots or event photos of Bill or Richard Jeff may be used.
- Bill (Owner): Known for his signature black glasses and clean-shaven look. Heβs the face of the brand and the heart of the operation!
- DJ Richard Jeff: Our premier talent who knows exactly how to read a room.
Whether itβs a blog post hero image or an Instagram reel, we use our real team. And we show up on time! If you need a photo of a DJ, look no further than our approved asset library.

Colors, Fonts, and Tone: The Goode Vibe β¨
How do we want our clients to feel when they talk to us? Empowered, excited, and relaxed.
The Style Guide provides a clear palette that reflects our authority in the Atlanta event scene. Think deep blacks, elegant golds, and crisp whites, colors that scream "first-class quality."
Our Voice
Our tone-of-voice is one of our greatest USPs. We are:
- Friendly but Professional: We treat clients like family, but we handle their events like experts.
- Confident and Assertive: We use superlative language like "best of the best" because we believe it!
- Empathetic: We acknowledge the stress of planning an event and immediately offer the solution.
Actionable Guidelines for Content
- Use Second-Person: Always talk to the reader as "you." This is a partnership!
- Punctuate with Excitement: Donβt be afraid of the exclamation point! We are in the business of celebrations!
- Address Pain Points: Ask the rhetorical questions. "Worried about a dead dance floor?" "Stressed about the timeline?" Then tell them why we are the answer!
Event Photography: Showing Off Our Work πΈ
The Brand Style Guide also includes reference photography of our actual event setups. We want to showcase our Event Lighting & Sound expertise and our Outdoor Movie Night capabilities.
When selecting photos for our marketing, look for images that show:
- Packed Dance Floors: We specialize in keeping them full all night!
- Professional Equipment: No messy cables or cheap setups. We use moving heads, wash effects, and high-end mixers.
- Real Emotions: The "enchanting" and "spectacular" moments that our clients will remember forever.

How to Use the Guide (Effective Immediately) π
Team, this is a living document, but its rules are firm and effective immediately.
- Reference the Guide First: Before you create a social media post, a flyer, or a client presentation, open the Style Guide.
- Update Your Templates: If you have old proposals or email signatures using the old logos, please update them by the end of the week.
- Ask if Youβre Unsure: We are here to help! If you aren't sure which logo variant to use for a specific sub-brand, reach out.
Remember: By sticking to these guidelines, we are building a brand that the Atlanta community knows they can trust. Ask around, Goode Times Events is becoming the gold standard for celebrations, and this guide is the foundation for that reputation!
Letβs Make it a Spectacular Year! π₯
We are so incredibly proud of the work this team does every single day. From the meticulous coordination of a theme party to the technical setup of a backyard movie night, you are the ones who make these memories possible.
